Judas Iscariot

Treasurer of Antipas, tries to lead the tetrarch to the best decisions. He will be one of the twelve apostles chosen by the Messiah. Besides being a good treasurer of the group, Judas is considered by his companions as a good, loyal, intelligent and educated man. But it has a weakness: ambition for material things and for power. Influenced by Satan, he is convinced that Jesus’ arrest would be the trigger for a great revolt, which would ultimately lead the Jewish people to freedom. Judas then betrays the Messiah. The plan fails, and remorse leads him to suicide.
