She is almost 20 years old. She is a slave, daughter of a mulata and a white man. She has a pale skin. She’s very beautiful, sensitive, tender, polite and romantic. She received an excellent education from her godmother, who raised her as a daughter. She can’t lie, she is still a maiden and gets easily thrilled. She always cares about other people and always tries to do good things.

She is a good daughter and is kind to her father. She considers her godmother Gertudres her “white mother” and Joaquina her “black mother”. She was raised by these two women.
