Faruk is a philistine soldier who looks forward a successful military career and tries to impress Simas, to obtain Ieda´s hand in marriage. He receives the order to devastate Samson´s village but he is not able to reach his objective, since Samson defeats his entire army. He will meet Samson again in a dispute over Ieda and he will spare no effort to defeat the Hebrew hero.
