Mother of Bárbara. When her daughter moves to Rio, she feels betrayed, upset with all the years of her motherly love wasted away. Little by little, as she sees her daughter struggling and maturing she begins to question her life and realizes that her marriage is over. She asks for the divorce and leaves home trying to make up for the lost time.
