He is a rich farmer. Marcelo is intelligent, an idealist, a dreamer, political, sensual and charismatic. He is a good and caring father. Married to CAMILA, father of ALEX and TAMIRES. He has a lover, SOFIA, with whom he is madly in love, in spite of the love he feels for his wife. He dies in the beginning of the story  trying to break up a fight between his son ALEX and his nephew CAIO. He trusts his brother his family and SOFIA’s protection. His death will greatly impact the following events.
