Being Aman`s only son, he is the only one who is not interested in his father’s sordid plans. Privately, he is against his father`s rivalry with the Jews, but he does not dare challenge him. He is fearful and will not stand up to his family.  He falls in love with Ana, a Jewish girl, with which he shares a Romeo and Juliet kind of romance for both their families are opposed to their relationship.
