Works at Arminho Ranch. He suffered much and can’t cope with the death of his wife, due to breast cancer. Since then he tries to give an education to his son Cícero, who is 13 years old, by himself. Ednaldo doesn’t know how to show affection and his fear of not being able to raise Cícero properly transforms him into a rude father. Ednaldo has a problem in his back and to work in the ranch he needs to use his son’s work. This will end up involving him in a lawsuit for child labor and taking Cícero from him. Ednaldo, who already had a tendency for alcoholism, falls deeper after he loses custody of his son.
